#10 Outside Seams

For perfect inserting every time. With our #10 Outside Seam Envelopes, you’re guaranteed a clean insertion because there is no paper on the inside. Large mailers and mailing houses love them—not only because Outside Seam Envelopes are easy to work with, but you significantly redcue waste too.

Premier developed this product in collaboration with Pitney Bowes. It’s a great alternative to the traditional 4” x 9” (#9) envelope and it is easy to insert into a #10.

For annual report time, consider our Open Side and Open End Window Envelopes in catalog sizes. With a new patcher in our BC plant, we’ve also improved delivery times with this product.

Window Envelopes

Window envelopes have always been available in lettermail sizes, but now we stock the following envelopes too, available for next day delivery:

9" x 12" Window:

  • Stocked in white with a DM (Direct Marketing) Window or Annual Report Window
  • Open-Side
  • Perfect for mailing unfolded 8-1/2" x 11" letters, as the window is correctly positioned for the mailing address

5-3/4" x 9-1/2" DM Window:

  • Stocked in white
  • Open-Side
  • Perfect for bulk direct mail campaigns, as the window is correctly positioned for the address (on a folded 8-1/2" x 11" letter)

Don’t see an envelope that suits your mailing needs? CD Window Envelope

Invitation Style Envelopes

A great way to produce distinctive business stationary, send announcements, small booklets, brochures and greeting cards. The A-sized invitation envelope is a double side seam envelope available in the following sizes with square flaps:

  • A2 (4-3/8" x 5-3/4")
  • A6 (4-3/4" x 6-1/2")
  • A7 (5-1/4" x 7-1/4")

Reverse Flap Envelopes

  • Most commonly used for inserting cheques.
  • Always a constant supply in stock at Premier Envelope — saving you production time and money!
  • Also available in custom orders.
  • #10, 24lb. white innerlined Reverse Flap Envelopes:

Window Size: 1-1/8" x 4-1/2"

Window Position: 4-3/8" from the left, 2-1/4" from the bottom.

Square Envelopes

  • Use square envelopes to market computer software, transfer CDs, DVDs and computer disks and more!
  • Square envelopes are 28lb. white wove with a square flap.
  • Customize your order: Add a window to any of the envelopes sizes. Square envelopes can also be manufactured using coloured stock and as pre-printed converted envelopes.

Bangtail Envelopes

Bangtail envelopes help your company keep up-to-date on your customers’ information. Consider using a bangtail envelope for the following:

How does it work?

A bangtail envelope is usually a business reply envelope with an extra flap designed so users can tear off the flap, fill in the important information, and insert the “tail" back into the envelope. The remaining long flap completely covers the back of the envelope so additional information can be filled in under the flap and the envelope’s back.

Bangtail envelopes are available in three sizes:

  • 3-5/8" x 6-1/2" (with a remittance flap)
  • 3-3/4" x 8-3/4" (with a 3-1/2" bangtail)
  • 3-3/4" x 8-3/4" (with a 2-3/4" bangtail)

7.5 CAT (Catalogue) Envelope

  • It’s heavier, whiter and brighter, offering an improved print surface and an enhanced corporate image.
  • 9-1/2" x 12-1/2", made from 75 lb. Hi Bulk Offset with a 2" seal flap.

Business Reply Envelopes (BRE)

  • Use a BRE as an opportunity to sell, to reinforce the offer and urgency of response and to match the theme of the package and company behind it.
  • Customize your BRE for optimal use! Some ideas:
    • Use the back for customer instructions or to update customer information.
    • Use the front to increase the response rate by including “RUSH" or to sell extra add-ons, such as warranty coverage.
  • Other questions to consider: Has enough attention been paid to the design of the BRE? Does it reflect the image of the entire package? Should it be addressed to a certain person or department? Could it carry a second offer? Have you optimized your printing space?

For printing postage-paid Business Reply Mail, Canada Post provides printer guides on their web site. Ensure you have the most up-to-date information on artwork and printing requirements by reviewing the following:

  • Note: Alterations to the artwork will result in additional charges, so it is advised to always contact Canada Post in you have any questions or doubts.
